At the end of January, the first Jamba Juice® store opened in Lexington. It took a team of experienced and driven entrepreneurs to bring the brand to Kentucky, launching Jamba Juice into its twenty-sixth state, giving the brand store presence in over half the United States.

The Speaquess Group, LLC was founded in 2011, but its key players have over 100 years of experience in retail sales and store operations. The Speaquess Group includes Emmy & Don Marquess as well as Mary & John Speaker. This is the first Jamba Juice store for these local franchisees.

“We are excited to bring Jamba Juice, a brand associated with the a ‘healthy, active lifestyle’ to fans here in Lexington,” said Emmy Marquess, owner/operator.

Students on the University of Kentucky campus will be able to use their UK Plus Accounts at the store, a business decision that will help the Speaquess Group connect and better serve the community around them. They’ve chosen to be open during key morning hours until well after dinnertime, allowing fans to stop in and grab their favorite delicious and nutritious menu offering.

The Speaquess Group’s investment in Jamba Juice represents an opportunity to bring the nationally-recognized health and wellness brand to their local community, friends and family, and to further the mission to inspire and simplify healthy living.

The team at Speaquess Group plans to open a second store at Fayette Mall in the spring. Additionally, they have plans to open a minimum of seven Jamba Juice stores, not only in Kentucky, but also Southern Indiana and Ohio. Clearly, Jamba Juice is a brand they believe in!
